Actors Arjun Kapoor and Janhvi Kapoor along with other family members -- dad and filmmaker Boney Kapoor, kid sister Khushi Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor with wife Maheep and daughter Shanaya -- met to celebrate Anshula Kapoor’s birthday on Saturday.Maheep shared a video on her Instagram story, in which Anshula cuts her cakes with her family members singing the Happy Birthday song in the background. Janhvi sits next to her older half-sister and on the other side is Khushi, with Boney standing behind them. Arjun stands in one corner, next to his cousin and Sanjay Kapoor’s son, Jahaan. Anshula is seen smiling as she goes about blowing the candles on the cakes. At one point, Janhvi, who is also filming the others, has the camera on her and says “I just want to pray for you. I will go to Tirupati for you.” There are as many as six cakes on the table.

An ambitious film by Ashutosh Gowariker on the Third Battle of Panipat between Maratha forces and the Afghan king Ahmad Shah Abdali, the film tanked at the box office. In November this year, she began shooting for Dostana 2, again a Dharma Productions, in Chandigarh. The Delhi leg of the shooting had to be abandoned over pollution concerns. Karan Johar launched Sridevi and Boney Kapoor’s daughter Janhvi Kapoor under his production banner with ‘Dhadak’. The film was a hit and the debutante received all the appreciation she deserved for her performance. KJo soon announced the cast of his upcoming period drama ‘Takht’ which included Janhvi along with many others.

Now, according to the latest reports, Janhvi will possibly star in the filmmaker’s another venture as a lead. Reportedly, Johar will be backing a biopic on Air Force pilot Gunjan Saxena and he feels that Janhvi can play the Gunjan’s role perfectly. Karan thinks she has the right posture and attitude which is needed for the character.

The report further stated that the actress won’t be flying the helicopter for real but will learn how it works so that she would look comfortable on screen.

During Kargil War, Flight Lieutenant Gunjan Saxena was awarded the Shaurya Vir and she was the first women to receive the honour. She was a part of the first batch of 25 women who were selected as Indian Air Force trainee officers in 1995.

‘Mission Mangal’, which is being touted as India’s first space film starring Akshay Kumar in the main lead which will be helmed by Jagan Shakti. Earlier, Akki had taken to Twitter to reveal that he had signed a three-film deal with Fox Star Studios and Cape Of Good Films.

Now, the Khiladi of Bollywood took to Twitter once again to reveal the cast of the film ‘Mission Mangal’. He shared a picture with the cast of ‘Mission Mangal’ which also stars Kriti Kulhari, Taapsee Pannu, Sonakshi Sinha, Vidya Balan, Sharman Joshi and Nithya Menon.

He captioned the picture as “Proud and excited to bring the story of India’s Mars Mission, #MissionMangal to you. Coincidentally the mission was launched on this very date, 5th Nov. 2013. Meet the team and do share your best wishes for our shubh mangal journey. Shoot begins soon.”

The cast of the film is expected to start shooting for the film in mid-November. Meanwhile, on the professional front, Akshay has his kitty full with projects like ‘2.0’, ‘Good News’ and ‘Kesari’.

After the release of her last film, ‘Namaste England’, Parineeti Chopra is busy shooting for her next, ‘Jabariya Jodi’ opposite Sidharth Malhotra. Recently, the actress was shooting a particular scene at the Lucknow railway station and surprisingly she even sneaked out unnoticed after the shot.

According to reports, the makers had installed hidden cameras to avoid the crowds. Parineeti gave the perfect shot in one go much to the delight of the director and before commuters could realise that she was shooting. As Parineeti was in a deglam look, she went unnoticed and left the venue as soon as the shot was canned. By the time people could figure out what was happening, the unit had also made a quiet exit.

The film which went on floors a few months ago is being shot in and around Lucknow. It is slated to hit the theatres next year.
